Michelle & Josh Story
As alumni of LOG, and through our time serving as adult advisors, we have seen that there is need for support for hurting students within the LOG community. Oftentimes LOG weekends bring students face to face with real challenges in their lives that require more intentional care than the LOG community can provide. When we opened our counseling practice, Story of Hope Counseling, we knew that some of the work would be with high schoolers (be it through LOG or the local community) and were excited to be able to meet a need that we saw time and time again through LOG weekends. It is our great privilege to donate to MYM through the Theresa “Tez” Rosencrantz Memorial Fund by offering our services to LOG students at a significantly reduced cost.
As alumni we believe in what LOG does and we want to see this community continue to exist for years to come. By supporting the emotional needs of hurting students, we hope that we might be a small piece in continuing to allow students to grow in their relationships with God and in a loving, caring and supportive community. Our donation is, in particular, in honor of Tez and the other students like her who have inner battles but for whom the loving care of the LOG community just isn’t enough.
