It is impossible for me to share my testimony with others without mentioning a great deal about MYM. LOG was the foundation for me to see and experience people truly living for Christ as well as helped me learn how to live for Him myself. The benefits of LOG have long outlived my high school years and I hope they can continue to outlive the high school years for many more youth in the coming years. To do this well, MYM needs many resources; time, volunteers, food, venues, and financial donations. Since I was a student in LOG, I have decided to make a small monthly monetary donation and give my time when able. My wife and I decided to continue giving to MYM many years after and for many years to come. Having experienced the effect LOG has on high school students and their lives afterward, I can scarcely think of a better investment of my resources. I firmly believe in helping those in need throughout the world, but I also believe everyone has a responsibility to better their local community. MYM is primarily local but has helped plant LOG in New Jersey and I’m sure they’ll continue to work hard and continue bringing the LOG experience to youth across the nation. I experienced the positive change LOG can bring in high school myself, I have seen LOG affect my younger sister’s life in a positive way, and I have met countless adolescents who are on the path toward Christ thanks in large part to MYM. I urge anyone reading this to consider a donation to MYM. Even a small amount can make a significant difference. I’ll end with a new favorite verse of mine; Galatians 6:2: “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”
