A Happy Heart
Hi! My name is Angel English (pictured on the right of my table group). I’m a junior at Adams HS and I attended LOG #87.
My experience at LOG was great – I made tons of friends who I love dearly, and I made great memories that I keep near to my heart.
I was 99.9% scared when I arrived at LOG #87. I am not the best at opening up to most people. So LOG was a bit intimidating but I genuinely loved it so much, and after awhile it became easy to talk to people. Once I realized that at LOG people do not judge one another and respect each other’s personal relationship with God, I knew we were all there to grow and to love God together.
I would recommend LOG to anyone – it’s the best experience I’ve had with God in awhile. No matter your position in life or your struggles in life, you will leave LOG with a happy heart, a happy smile, and great friendships.
Special thanks to Angelica English (LOG #87) for being the third contributor to the new LOGblog series of reflections from LOGgers (and LOG alums). If you would like to contribute to the new LOGblog, please contact Molly Malone or Terry McBride
Saturday, December 17 – Christmas at Bashor Home – We will share the love with the kids at Bashor (if the weather doesn’t get too bad for the drive to Goshen) by playing games, decorating cookies and listening to the story of Barrington Bunny.
Sunday, December 18 – Christmas Caroling “Flashmob” – We will meet at 6:00pm at the Firehouse at Clay Church (17646 Cleveland Road, SB) and then take off to go sing carols for some special folks who ave been so supportive of LOG / MYM this year. Dress warmly and wear boots for walking in the snow. Don’t be late!
